Color Space: For best results start and stay in RGB. Convert to "Adobe RGB 1998". If you are working in CMYK, stay in CMYK and assign "U.S. Web Coated Swop v2". Scale: Work at 1/10, 1/3, 1/2, or 1/1 ratio. Resolution (pixels per inch): 100dpi at final size. Bleed: 1/2 inch top, bottom, left and right. Fonts: All type usage must be rasterized. Image Compression: Off. Layers: Flatten all files. Save As Tiff, or High-Res PDF with Bleed.
Grayscale Images must be converted to RGB
Illustrator
Color Space: Pantone Coated is preferred or CMYK, NO RGB COLORS. Scale: Work at 1/10, 1/3, 1/2, or 1/1 ratio. Resolution of placed images (pixels per inch) See Above. Bleed: 1/2 inch top, bottom, left and right. Fonts: All type usage must be outlined. Save As: High-Res PDF with Bleed.
InDesign & Quark

Avoid using highly-compressed jpg files, gif and png images and images taken from a web page.
